Zwei elektrische Pods am Heckspiegel halten die GPS-Position eigenständig – auch bei Wind und Strömung. Gesteuert wird per Differenzialsteuerung: durch unterschiedlichen Schub beider Pods, ganz ohne Ruder. Two electric pods at the transom hold GPS position on their own — even in wind and current. Steering works via differential thrust (skid-steering): unequal thrust between the pods, with no rudder at all.

Die Riomar 570 von Eigner René Offermanns befindet sich derzeit im Umbau zum Prototypboot. Nach Fertigstellung folgen umfassende Testreihen auf den Maasplassen in Roermond (Niederlande), bevor das Boot nach Mallorca überführt wird – der zweiten Heimat des Eigners. Ab Januar 2027 kann es dort nach Absprache und Terminvereinbarung besichtigt und in Aktion erlebt werden. The Riomar 570 owned by René Offermanns is currently being converted into the prototype boat. Once complete, extensive test series will follow on the Maasplassen in Roermond, the Netherlands, before the boat is relocated to Mallorca — the owner's second home. From January 2027, it can be viewed and experienced in action there, by appointment.
